Harleys and model A's have alot to share. Both companys. Started in 1903 and both are noted for that sweet sound from the exhaust at idle.

If i rember how to use the grease gun, hold the body on the fitting and pump the handle, short strokes. You can try the technique on the bench first to see if the gun works. It should, very reliable...

Hi Gb, the old style alimite grease fittings don't have a check ball like the zerk fitting, modern fitting, so use a small wire to poke through the old hard grease. The original grease. Gun works...

If you didnt have the noise before, you should have it now. Check for a vacuum leak at the carb base . Badgasket? Warped carb base, or manifold surface. Check manifold to block for vacuum leakes....
