Almost brand new Float-A-Motor setup for sale, including front and rear mounts. They don't look to have been used long because the rubber is nice and fresh. Asking $100 plus USPS Priority shipping...

Re: Has anyone heard from Purdy Swoft

Re: New Member---'28 Model A Mods----help!

Re: New Member---'28 Model A Mods----help!

Someone may correct me but I'm pretty sure that 7 tooth boxes were used on into early 1930 production but they weren't very common at all, so I'd venture to guess that's what you've got. Either...

Re: New Member---'28 Model A Mods----help!

Here's a set of photos that will hopefully make ID'ing a 21" wheel easier. The orange wheel is Model T, the bare metal wheel is an early 28 and the red oxide primer wheel is late 28 and 29. The...

Re: New Member---'28 Model A Mods----help!

Look at the shape of the center hub where the long spokes attach and see the difference in profiles. That's the quickest way to ID an early 28 wheel from a later one. The early wheel looks similar...

Re: Component Finishes

That's pretty much been my experience as well. It always seems to be the alternator/overdrive crowd telling others how stupid they are to worry about what style backing plates are correct for a...

Re: 2 door phaeton project, how much is it worth

While that may actually be the case with this particular car, it's not necessarily a given. It's common practice to add them during a restoration to help prevent door sag in the future.

Not...

Re: Doc Kalinka's early 1928 Model A Open Cab Pickup

Yep, not sure why I was thinking that. It's what I get for going off of memory! :D Check your PM's for the last owner I have on record.

Re: 1930 Deluxe Roadster For Sale

Photo links fixed now, so the pics should be back up. Somebody needs to buy this car before the hot rodders buy it and hack it to pieces.

Re: Engine Rebuilder on ebay

It's still moving along, and I need my butt kicked for not having updated the thread in so long. Once I get a little bit of tax paperwork out of the way this week I'll get busy with a proper update.

This is a setup my Dad made back in the 70's and there's no telling how many wheels that have been painted on it over the years. You can manually rotate the wheel by touching it around the outer...
