I have a later 3:54 R&P 6 spline and a 10 spline drive shaft. I saw a coupler at Mac's and wanted to be sure it would work for my application. Thanks!

It's a special thing you are doing for your Dad. Ditto on repairing what's needed and have some fun with it. Painted surfaces with patina have a lot more character than a new paint job.
