You can buy an exact copy of a 427 Cobra with an aluminum body for 80 grand spend another 20+ to finish it and you have a very nice replica.

Hold the bracket where it should be with these in the holes - give it a smack and presto you know where to drill. These are for wood and will last for awhile. There are also threaded one for holes...

You need to be careful when buying your smoke. I've heard of people refilling their old bottles with grease smoke and selling it as genuine imported Lucas smoke.

I'm torn on which one to get. The rarer early 33 had a fender like the Model A but later and in 34 the fender had an extra piece behind the wheel.

Unlike martensitic steels, the austenitic stainless steels are not hardenable by heat treatment as no phase changes...

Your car has probably been registered since before the early 70s in CA. Today if you register one built from parts or brought from out of state you'll probably get a new tag from the state.

With disc runout the pads can just keep backing off (there is no positive stop and the runout forces the fluid back into the master cyl) needing you to pump the pedal to get them back into contact....
