Ralph, I have a couple of parts carbs and a spare screw or two as well, let me know if you need them
Automatic or stick,, a few differences but probably nothing you are dealing with.

Not sure what is different with the 51, I know 49/ 50 convertibles with X frame had a special mounting plate for the soloniod so it would clear the frame but sedans where the same.. These trannies...

Actually Jeep and AMC used the same transmission with a top shift . All I need to do is find a jeep tower and give it a try

Why did I say something wrong.. if it works you can have a top load ford with OD, behind and 8BA and run it in your AV8
