Yes it is adjusted as far as it goes, both the brake rod and the wedge. I will take out the pin to see what shape it is in, I had it out before but that was a couple months ago.

Front brake question
If I pull the brake lever all the way back on the left front brake assembly, the shoes do not grab. Should I be looking at the horizontal shaft or the operating pin? The shoes are new, the hardware...

I soldered a ground wire to the backside of the reflector in both lights and attached the wire to the bolts inside the lights and now they work as they should.

That is what I tried, and I think I found the dimple but it may have been my imagination. It certainly was not pronounced. I will try either a screwdriver or what Marco suggested on his web site....

I did try to find the timing mark (it is an "A" timing cover) but was not successful so I removed the #1 plug and found TDC (it had to be correct because it was not 180 degrees off). I know...
