Question Re: A bumper question for 56's

While perusing and reminiscing ...

I just noticed this car has a CONTINENTAL KIT. Now the question is it FORD or aftermarket? The exhaust would have to be modified/re-plumbed.

As mentioned, you need to have the TITLE updated.

Now are you still wondering...

Post Re: Help with VIN

That is not the complete SERIAL NUMBER/VIN.

Show complete SERIAL NO as shown on the RATING PLATE on the glove box door minus the digits if concerned.

Re: Ford 385 Family Engine 370 429 and 460

The 370 replaced the FT SERIES and the BIG JOB SERIES. It had different build details and ratings according to application.

I think the 390 is going to give you much better service.

Arrow Re: Windlace clip

The correct PN is B5A 7002614-A (55/56 FORD).

Maybe SEARCH and see if any NOS or maybe go by a trim shop and ask.

Re: Timken a150 pinion seal

I don't have a MPC that goes that far back.

There should be an ID NO on the seal itself that can be changed over to a modern PN.

What PN does your schematic show?
