Wow! I thought it was a simple electro-magnet that pulled a bridge across the two large terminals when powered. I purchased the relay only because it is a 12 volt 4 post relay with a curved base...

I understand the dome light wire runs up the windshield post but where does it pass through from the engine compartment to the interior windshield post? Where is the firewall pass through?

Thanks, I do see it now. Charging of the battery will flow from generator through the ammeter and back to the battery post on the starter solenoid.
