need help late 31 steel top pickup

as the title states need help with a late 31 indented firewall steel top pickup.

yea the triangular brace in the corner is riveted to the sub rail and the the foot that im talking about

I have a pop out ignition switch and from the key code is a 28 or 29 will that switch fit in the 31 dash

with the chassis sitting for up to 3 months makes me feel more at ease that at least my budd cab may actually belong to the frame even though I know the engine doesn't as far as the rear fenders you...

you can get a repo wide bed but repo rear fenders only come in glass

radiator shell looks to be 30 cab could be 30 or 31 bed looks like the late 31 wide bed but the hinges are diffrent

new idea on gas tank rust issue

For those who are suffering with rust in the gas tank. here is a product that may help. wd 40 rust remover soak dessolves rust.

this isnt proven but a gallon or two in a tank left to sit a day...

one problem with that junior with the electrical system compramized one a newer vehical just reaching in the door could take your head off, being a firefighter that are alot of things to worry about...

the box on the gen is a voltage regulator, which is better than the cut out it makes the gen work more like and altinator and it easier on the battery
