check your u joints, i had the same issue on my 37 sedan and it was the u joint in the clam shell. shot a slurry of low melt grease and gear oil and it was gone in a mile of

I rewired my 37 deluxe touring sdn several yrs ago and used ri wiring in West Kingston RI. I had turn signals fog lights and wires for both head temp sending units and a wire for electric fuel pump....

ben running diamond back 600x16 equivalent for over 30,000 mi with no issues. many 700mi trips in hot weather and don't leak. balance them with adapter from speedway.

I agree with you but thinking outside the box I figured if the lead leaks the gas has to somehow get by the threads to leak. Since there is no pressure I just figured putting Titeseal on the threads...

Thanks for the info on paint and the lead washer. I usually put a light coat of Titeseal medium on the threads of any threads that have a potential to leak. It not only seals but stays pliable for...

I also mounted mine behind the left frt wheel. Hangs at a 45 degree angle.Has worked fine for several yrs and makes a neat setup under the hood.

Sounds like a dry u joint. Mix up a slurry of grease and gearoil that you can pump from your grease gun, it worked for me. Had the same issue as you discribed. I give mine a good shot at the start of...
