driveshaft question
Could someone advise about the length the new driveshaft key should be? The repro I received is 2 3/8 inches long but the original seemed to be about an inch longer or so. It's the second series...

I have 40 style with the hubs behind the drums and they came from macs antique parts. I hope I didn't bend anything trying to pull them together. The labor to bore these drums is as much as a new...

New drum problems
Has anyone bought new brake drums that the center opening was too small to fit the hub, even a press fit. Would it be best to have a machinist open it up rather than cut down the shoulder of the hub?...

MACS is in the process of shipping their inventory from New York to Florida as they told me. That's what caused some disruptions in shipping. I'll bet it improves in the future.

Fuel pump pushrod hybrid
Could someone help? I'm using a Thickston PM 7 intake made for a 32 to 48 but bolting it to a 53 8BA engine. Could someone suggest the correct length to shorten the later pushrod? Thanks, Glynn.
