so the 37 style pump i put on the engine will not work. I have 37 style heads.
what would i have to change to make them work?
Rest assured, it will all bolt up, 37 water pump mount...

Just use the appropriate bearings to suit the hubs. The axle housings /inner races are all the same dia.

That is a C59A block... in the C69A block, the top row of coolant holes are oval/elongated...whereas the C59A block has round holes as pictured in post #20 in this thread.

You need to remove the regular LH housing from the banjo. Then, undo the bolts holding the crownwheel. Then you can remove crownwheel and LH axle. Then you can see the spider gears etc, move that...

thank you Ken and Pete, I actually set it all up and fitted it a week ago by reading the gear mesh pattern. A bit of work with the Columbia, I had to fit a .005" shim behind the Columbia side bearing...

Assemble your short block, then machine the heads to achieve the desired .040" odd thou quench. Getting that clearance from top of piston at TDC to head to within .040-.050" is paramount for optimum...
