From the picture it appears to me to be a '31 castiron drum. I've only seen a couple of these in my time.

Ihave been driving a's 65 years I have never bought a new 'plug. Decide which one is missing through it away. get another used one.

The cut out is either bad or hooked up incorrectly. You will burn up the generator if you leave it hooked up.

The two piece splash aporn makes it a '30. If the front edge has a design stamped in it then it would be an early '30 called an eyebrow.
