1930 Tudor Rain gutters
 

I was trying to find a way to bend the rain gutter to conform with the back of the car. I messed up one and went to a top shop and was told they do not bend metal. I went to a sheet metal shop and they refused to bend it. I got a phone call from B Terry and he explained how the bend them. This was my interpretation of his method and it works! Thanks

Thanks for your help Brent. Now with new aluminum gutters do I need to do anything so they will take to painting?

Scuff them with a red Scotchbrite and wipe them with Vinegar. Then use Wax & Grease Remover followed by priming with a 2k Epoxy primer. Install them onto the vehicle then mask and scuff with a grey Scotchbrite. Prep & paint with a 2k Urethane Black.

So I too am doing a Tudor and have been having trouble bending the aluminum two piece gutters. What process did you use to bend them?

Place wax paper between the two pieces snap them together. I place two round dowel pins in a block of wood and slowly bent around maintaining the gutters flat. Keep checking fitment and cut to length when final bend is in
