What Vintage? 4 Attachment(s)
This is labeled 32-36 Ford. Is that correct and does it have much value in this condition? Thanks.

Re: What Vintage? That generator was original equipment on Ford V8 1934 through to 1937 and some 38. Radiator fan mounted on the gen pulley using those 4 bolts. 1932 had a different front threaded mount and 33 had no cooling fan blades cast in the back of the pulley and no cooling openings in the front and rear gen end housings. 1934 on had cooling openings and blades on fan such as on your sample. Original cutout on top can add some value. Pay as low as you can get it for but maybe $40.00 or so. Regards, Kevin.

Re: What Vintage? Not 32. Look for a 5/16 slotted hex nut holding the pulley to the armature for 32-33-34-35, with hole in the armature for cotter pin. 36 went to larger hex nut and lockwasher. Stamped into the main body is the Ford script as well as a Mfg. date code such as O-1 for Jan. of 1934

Re: What Vintage? Is there some available literature on rebuilding these flathead components like water pumps and generators?
