Can anyone idendify this cluster gear for me? The hole in the center is 3/4 in. It is very similar to a V8 60 cluster gear. The burs on the end gear are throwing me off. Thanks.

Re: Cluster Gear ID

The teeth at the end of the gear hold a thrush washer in place. Gear appears early like 35-36

Post the tooth count. We should be able to figure out exactly which gear it is.

Looks like the big gear is 29 tooth. If you need the other tooth counts I'll get them at lunch today.

Part straight cut spur gears puts it in the pre-1936 area for passenger cars. Pickups may have had spur gears for a bit longer but most went to helical after the start of the 1936 model year.
