Space Shuttle Hey guys, OT I guess but thought I would share. The Space Shuttle Endevour flew over our house yesterday then we watched the final approach to LAX from our upstairs window.
I seen the first one land at Edward AF Base and now the last. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8316/8...6943c43e13.jpg And now, back to out regular scheduled program... |
Re: Space Shuttle Was quite a site with many TV stations on live coverage all morning. Gives you a proud feeling.

Re: Space Shuttle That is a beautiful sight we had it fly over the island on it s way to new york city for the deck of the intrepid its a shame they are endind the space program my dad worked for grumman when they were building the lunar lander he worked on the platform that had the shoes on it so as kids we all watched the landings

Re: Space Shuttle I was lucky enough to watch the one head into NY, and the one yesterday. Sort of sad in a way. At one time, the world watched us because we did great things.

Re: Space Shuttle Dennis, did you take that picture? Whether yes or no, KOOL!

Re: Space Shuttle Truly an end to an era. I was fortunate to watch the last Shuttle launch last year at Cape Kennedy. My 10 year old daughter and my Dad were there with me. What a great time to make some memories.
