Can I use the 8ba flywheel or will it need to be the one that is the same style but a little thicker. No idea what the motor will be going into. I want the motor as complete as possible before selling. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all. Bill

The Merc crank will drop into 39 -41 block, use 39-41 main bearings, use the 59ab aluminum top main rope seal retainer, use the special aluminum seal retainer in main cap, you can get the rear retainer at a lot of places like Joe's Antique Auto Mass Ma, 1-800-508 3980 You should grind a little reliefe about 1in, long and 1/8 deep on the bottom of cyl so rod nut don't hit bottom of cyl. You have to use 32-48 flywheel, Not 8BA, I would have that 11in wheel redrilled down to 9in. Use 8BA rods and bearings. Have complet engine balanced. Merry Christmas. hope fat man comes down the chimmy. Walt
