Ron Kelley short block

City: Fort Worth
State: Tx
Price: $1500

This is a disassembled Ron Kelley short block. I believe it’s a 4 inch bore, with original rods that have been machined for inserts. It is a used motor… that being said it should clean up and make a very nice inserted motor for a reasonably cheap cost. The cylinders have surface rust on them from when the coolant falling into the cylinders when the head came off. It should clean up very easily with a hone. The cylinders don’t even have the beginning of a ridge on the top. Stainless valves with valve seals installed, and valve rotators for the exhaust valves. Valves and cam are still assembled in the block. Super touring cam (3/4 race). Aluminum cam gear. I have a non counterweighted crank that has been ground for inserts to go with it. 30/30 crank that is in good condition. Antique engine rebuilding bearings are a direct replacement for the bearings that this block was originally machined for. I want $1500 for the short block, and if you want it shipped, that’s on your dime. I would prefer local pick up. I can email or text pics. Contact me at 817-seven2seven-99four8
