29 coupe 1 Attachment(s)
I'm going to get this 29 coupe from one of my relatives. He's owned the car since 1952 and purchased it from the original owner when he was 14. It's never had any patch panels welded in really solid body. It needs a new roof, interior and fuel tank cleaned. It should have the original numbers matching engine. He also has a 34 I'm eyeing up.

Re: 29 coupe Nice catch. If it has not been started in a while, you will want to drop the pan and pull off the valve cover to clean out the old sludge before you start it. There has been lots of discussion here on what to do to bring an old car back to life. Search for that. In short, clean the carburetor and points and put a quart of oil down the distributor hole just before starting it. If it was just parked because of lack of interest then the engine is probably good. If it was parked because of some problem you will want to pull the engine for a complete disassembly and inspection.
