Still sober

I've been taking an annual liberty since Shelly had the Barn. 23 years today. And no it's NOT about me. If you drink and can't stop but really want to there is help available. It's just a phone call or internet search away. I'm not saying I am or not a member of AA. I can tell you there is a solution. You just need to want sobriety more than a drink one day at a time, Craig.

Well done Craig. That's an achievement to be proud of.

Re: Still sober

Great job Craig - glad you've stayed sober and are here to talk about it!

Too many just can't beat the beast and destroy their lives (and the lives of others) as a result. Way to go!

Atta boy Craig, mt second birth is tomorrow 3/17 86. At that time I didn't have a nickel or a window to throw it out of. With the help OF a good woman and JC, I've survived to build flatheads, Good to be here,

Re: Still sober

Thank you for posting, my dear friend ~ and congratulations! When I retired from the Drug Court, we had over 550 graduates, clean and sober: I constantly used you and Ol’ Ron’s stories as positive (nameless) examples. The work continues in Mississippi Drug Courts, successfully; and I’ll say it straight out: Drug Courts, AA, NA WORK!
