Re: Ford's First V-8 Engine? I drove by that building today....I drive by it everyday....Later it became Tomans Machine Shop...a fantastic place with the belts and pullies all turning and the sound of belts flapping...I believe all the machines were move a few years ago...I sure would have liked to hear the "TV8" running.....Carl

Re: Ford's First V-8 Engine? There are several references and some pictures in Model T books of a v8 engine not built by FMC but a dealer in CA. HF was not happy about those engines.

Re: Ford's First V-8 Engine? I saw that V8 Model T engine in the railroad museiam in Boothbay Maine about 20 years ago. Walt

Re: Ford's First V-8 Engine? Thanks John, in all the years I've messed with Fords I had never seen the "T "v8. I have seen the early Chevy v8 and the chevy cooper air cooled 4 banger at dearborn, but they didn't have the "early" ford v8. Learn something everyday, Chuck S.
