Do you think this is Lombard or Andulusite Blue on this 1930/31 Standard Phaeton seen on MAFCA's "A of the Day"? I really like it-especially with the black wheels and tires. Understated elegance.
Thanks.

Beautiful car. I don't see a pinstripe and center bumper clamp.
Strange that so many restored cars are missing the center bumper clamp.
Where do you live? Jim Brand is the man you want to pinstripe your car.

I'd say off hand Lombard Blue.

Washington Blue is a little lighter hue.

I like the car too, looks great with black rims and blackwall tires. I prefer that look over w/walls and painted rims for sure.

My vote is Lombard.

Andalusite and Washington have some purple in them, at least they do to me.

It can be a hard vote between Washington and Lombard considering the light conditions.

To be a show winner apparently as that one is, it should be of a correct color. In 1930 I believe Andalusite was not available and in 1931 only Lombard was available on STD models. Of course, as usual, I could be wrong.

Hmmm............if I'm always wrong and purposely post the wrong answer, will I then be right?
